The handle of this beautiful shaving brush is made of African Blackwood. African Blackwood, or Mpingo in Swahili, is an exotic wood that comes from the dry savanna regions of central and southern Africa and is considered to be among the hardest and densest of woods in the world.
The tips of the Syn-Bad knot are super soft and the backbone gives the best splay of any synthetic knot we offer. Plus with its reddish brown bristles and contrasting white tips it looks great!
