This beautiful, traditional-style, matching three piece shaving set features:
- Blane, a handcrafted Gumdrop-style, Chocolate Malt resin shaving brush with a 24mm Super Badger knot with a 51mm loft. The overall height is 108mm / 4.25″ (4 1/4″) and the weight is 71g / 2.5 oz.
- A handcrafted, Chocolate Malt resin safety razor handle with a closed comb head that has a beautiful chrome finish and is 105mm / 4.13″ (4 1/8″) long and weighs 65g / 2.3 oz.
- A beautifully handcrafted Cherry wood stand that is 152mm / 6.00″ (6″) tall with an approximate 9cm / 3.5″ (3 1/2″) diameter base.
The Chocolate Malt resin features swirling browns, light and dark, with an iridescent antique copper metallic shimmer and just enough white for contrast.
Similar in looks to the Silvertip the hair for the Super Badger knot is normally plucked from the back of the badger. These are then graded and sorted to such a degree that its performance is superior to that of Best Badger. They feature soft bristles and natural tips with a strong backbone and a good ability to absorb water. Many people feel that after a break in period they are close in performance to Silvertip!
This is a modern take on a true classic and definitely one that will please!
