This beautiful, traditional-style, three piece shaving set features:
- A handcrafted Cherry wood handled shaving brush with a 24mm Super knot with a 50mm loft. The overall height is 114mm / 4.5″ (4 1/2″) and the weight is 63g / 2.2 oz.
Similar in looks to the Silvertip the hair for the Super Badger knot is normally plucked from the back of the badger. These are then graded and sorted to such a degree that its performance is superior to that of Best Badger. They feature soft bristles and natural tips with a strong backbone and a good ability to absorb water. Many people feel that after a break in period they are close in performance to Silvertip!
- A handcrafted Cherry wood handled safety razor handle with a closed comb head that has a chrome finish and is 108mm / 4.25″ (4 1/4″) long and weighs 60g / 2.1 oz.
- A beautifully handcrafted Cherry wood stand that is 146mm / 5.75″ (5 3/4″) tall with an approximate 9cm / 3.5″ (3 1/2″) diameter base.
Cherry, also known as Black Cherry, is a local wood to Eastern North America. We harvest our Cherry in the Hants County area of Nova Scotia. The heartwood has a light pinkish colour when first cut and darkens to a medium reddish brown.
This is a modern take on a true classic and definitely one that will please!
